For housing associations, this is becoming increasingly important, as decisions regarding maintenance, sustainability, leasing, and portfolio policy are only valuable when based on up-to-date and accurate information. At CorporatiePlein, Clappform demonstrates how associations can bring together fragmented data from existing source systems into a single reliable information supply. What is your message at CorporatiePlein?
Our message is clear: a housing association only truly becomes future-proof when its data is in order. Digital transformation is not about having as many systems as possible alongside each other, but about gaining control over the data you already have and deploying it intelligently and reliably for decision-making.

A dual theme is central to our stand this year. Firstly, together with the DAMA NL foundation, we are organising a knowledge session on data management within housing associations: how do you ensure ownership, quality, and governance of data, and why is that the foundation of any digital ambition? DAMA NL brings established knowledge and standards in the field of data management, while we bring practical experience from the housing association sector: a combination that provides visitors with immediate practical guidance.

Additionally, we are showcasing our Gegevensmagazijn (Data Warehouse) at the stand: our digital solution that enables data integrations between the systems that associations already use (ERP, property software, CRM, and more). The Gegevensmagazijn retrieves fragmented data from those source systems and aggregates it into one central, reliable environment, enabling associations to make truly data-driven decisions, from portfolio strategy to maintenance and sustainability. Because we record where data originates and how it is processed along the way (data lineage), that data remains traceable and reliable, which is indispensable when making major decisions based on it.

How do you help housing associations become future-proof?
We help housing associations on two levels, which reinforce each other.

On the foundational level: together with DAMA NL, we build awareness and knowledge of data management, so that data ownership, quality, and governance are not an afterthought but an integral part of the organisation. This foundation is necessary before digital transformation can truly succeed.

On the practical level: with our Gegevensmagazijn, we ensure that associations do not get stuck in separate Excel sheets and manual links between systems. We unlock and integrate data from existing source systems into a single central, up-to-date information supply, with data lineage as the underlying principle: every piece of data can be traced back to its source system and the steps it has gone through. This enables associations to make faster, well-founded decisions (on maintenance, sustainability, leasing, or portfolio policy) based on facts instead of assumptions, and with the confidence that those facts are correct.
