During this graduation internship as a Data Scientist at Clappform, you will work on challenging issues surrounding digitalisation. Who are we?

Clappform is a Dutch low-code cloud platform for data analysis and process optimisation. The platform aggregates data from various sources, enriches it, and makes it transparent through interactive dashboards, maps, and API integrations.

With Clappform, governments and organisations can make faster and better decisions based on up-to-date and reliable information. The solution is cloud-based, secure (ISO-certified), and flexibly built according to modern architecture principles such as microservices and Common Ground.

Clappform is widely used within municipalities and provinces for issues related to quality of life, Housing Development, sustainability, and the energy transition, allowing you to make a direct social impact.

The platform consists of multiple modules that are continuously in development: from data visualisation to interactive components and tooling that our clients can work with themselves. Which data analysis you take on during your internship will be aligned with your interests and what is current at that moment.

What will you do?

• Collecting, processing, and analysing large datasets using advanced analytical techniques and tools

• Developing algorithms and models to solve complex problems and make predictions

• Identifying trends, patterns, and insights in data to make strategic recommendations for various departments

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data solutions

• Communicating complex analyses and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner

Who are you?

You are a Bachelor's or Master's student in the field of AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science who wants to gain work experience in a technology startup and develop rapidly in a short period. You already have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis or data modelling and want to take that to the next level. Furthermore, you recognise yourself in the following:

• Strong analytical skills combined with a 'can-do' mentality

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of predictive models, machine learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms

• Fluency in a programming language (Python)

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages

• Available for 3-5 days per week; the number of months is negotiable (typically between 3-12 months)
